It was time for a redesign so we are excited to present vizualrecords.com 3.0 with lots of new features and enhancements.
Here are some of the highlights:
NEW: Now enhanced for retina displays.
Fully responsive down to mobile. The site has been completely redesigned with a custom theme using a fluid 1140px grid and is fully responsive to work on screens and devices of all sizes. Shrink your browser window to see this in action. You can also see the grid on the site.
Blazing Speeds. We’ve optimized everything from the ground up focusing on speed and fast page loads.
Search. Search is now sitewide and searches through products, posts, pages, images and just about everything else.
New Releases. The latest releases are now right on the front page.
HTML5 Audio Players. We’re using custom skinned audio players that are completely cross-platform and will work on any mobile device that supports HTML5 like the iPhone, Android and more. Special thanks to Simon Ward for help with his excellent MP3 jPlayer plugin.
Shopping Cart. We’re using the super solid cart66 e-commerce plugin which we have enhanced with custom product tables, ajax updated cart and super-styled product pages. We’ve added a pop-up widget cart at the top right of the page that updates automatically.
Meta Login. Now you can login/register/logout from the login widget at the top right at any time. Registering allows you to opt-in for the Vizual Email List and soon we will have registered-only sections, account pages and purchase histories. Registering is not required but recommended.
Excerpts. All of our news articles/posts are now excerpts so you can quickly scan the news you need. To see the full posts, just click the “Read More” link.
